Regular readers know that this blog grew from my experience of systemic gender based violence in the United Kingdom. Its always a difficult thing to look back at, and try to decide what I could have done differently… The reality is that when abuse begins in childhood, the secrets and internalisation, self blame, protecting care givers from the upset mean that there is a complexity that I understand only too well. However as I look back I think the thing I wish I could change was leaving abuse in early adulthood. Then as abuse developed and became more overwhelming that I left the ecosystem of abuse in the United Kingdom and Europe. The reality is that these abusive systems thrive on people being trapped within the country and the abuse that is endemic, or an epidemic.
As I write this finishing my second book and completing that work far away from Europe, I look back and wish I had left earlier. Change was not possible, I knew that change was not possible, the ecosystem is Roman Catholic, based entirely on the abuse, child abuse, secrecy and protectionism. As I write this the decision was taken by the first Catholic Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, that Priest and church leaders have absolutely no legal requirement to report child abuse to the authorities, when disclosed. Creating a system of complicit silence throughout the religious state. I look back and I wish only that I had left not just the abusive relationships that were recreated from my childhood, but also Europe that faciltated, covered for mine and thousands of others. As the murders for cash continue unbated, all I can do is work and write and use any platform possible to raise awareness, yet I know in my heart that thousands of years of Roman rule and latterly their nemeisis the Catholic church, genocide, child abuse will not change in Europe…Nazism, facism and socialism are the vehicles that these monsters use to cover their depraved systemic abuse…. The big question is can England separate itself from this long term ? …
