There is a famous Nike quote, Just do it … I think that exercise is just organised movement… So I think it depends on the stage of life.. With three small children and no help, thinking that organised exercise is possible Is unrealistic, however keeping a tidy home is great exercise, cleaning tidying and daily walks with the children pram and pushchair is great exercise. Pilates with household props is easy, just hilarious it hubby or children find you using bean tins as weights and the skipping rope as lever for stretches… Couples yoga is great for relationships and confidence building and intimacy. As long as you are ready to have the occasional fall or funny position…. great for relationships and no special places required…Finally for the singles amongst us joining a gym can be great socially and exercise in a shared space allows human interaction and don’t be put off by the muscles and gym addicts, just start with gentle cycling, rowing and headphones fav tracks and always a place with a small cafe for a reward latte…
